Google handles the sign-in in its own window. Your Google password never reaches txtnode.

We save your basic profile
Your name, email address, profile photo, and whether Google has verified that email. Nothing else in your Google account is shared with us.

The account menu in the header has a sign out option on every page, one click away.

Do I need an account to use txtnode?
No. Notes, tasks and every developer tool work without signing in. An account opens your dashboard.
Which sign-in methods are supported?
Google is the only sign-in method today. You can use the button on this page or the Google prompt that appears in the corner of the site.
What does txtnode get from my Google account?
Your name, email address, profile photo, and whether Google has verified that email. txtnode never sees your Google password and cannot read your Gmail, Drive or contacts.
Does signing in make my notes private?
No. Notes and tasks are still stored against the URL you choose, and anyone who visits that URL can read or edit them, so keep anything sensitive out of them.
Why did the sign-in window not open?
Some browsers block pop-up windows. Allow pop-ups for txtnode.com and press Continue with Google again.
