How it came together
The problem
Too many tabs, too much friction
Every note needed an account. Every small utility lived on a different site, buried behind ads and sign-up walls, just to convert a JSON blob or generate a password.
The first version
A single page that just worked
txtnode started as a plain text editor with nothing else on the page. No login, no save button; open it and start typing, and it was still there later.
Where it is now
Notes, tasks, and tools, still one page at a time
Tasks and a set of developer tools were added the same way, one at a time, only when they earned their place. The bar for anything new is the same as it was on day one.

Focused
Every feature has to earn its place. If it does not make the core experience better, it does not ship.
