Terms of Service

txtnode is a free website offering a notes and task workspace plus a set of developer tools. It is operated independently by Abhay Vachhani and is not a registered company.

There are no accounts and no sign-up. Anyone can use the site, and we cannot tell users apart.

Read this before you save anything. A note or task list saved at a URL can be opened, edited, or deleted by anyone who visits or guesses that URL. There is no password, no ownership, and no access control.

Never store passwords, API keys, financial details, personal data, or anything confidential in a note or task list. You accept this risk when you use these features, and we are not responsible for content that is read, changed, or removed by someone else.

txtnode is not a backup service. We do not guarantee that anything you save will still be there later. Content may be lost through technical failure, overwriting by another visitor, or removal by us. Keep your own copy of anything that matters to you.

You may not use txtnode to create, store, or share:

• •Anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights.
• •Sexually explicit material, or any material involving the exploitation of minors.
• •Content that harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence or hatred against any person or group.
• •Malware, phishing pages, spam, or links intended to deceive or defraud.
• •Other people’s personal or confidential information, published without their consent.

You also may not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure, or scrape it in a way that degrades service for others.

You keep ownership of whatever you write on txtnode. We claim no rights over it beyond what we need to run the site: permission to store, display, and transmit it so the service works.

You are responsible for what you save, and you confirm you have the right to save it. Content written by visitors is not reviewed in advance and does not represent our views.

If you find content on txtnode that breaks these terms, infringes your rights, or exposes your personal information, email abhay@txtnode.com with the URL and a short explanation. We review reports and remove content that violates these terms.

We may remove any content, or block access to the site, at our discretion and without notice. Since there are no accounts, this means removing content or restricting access rather than closing an account.

The developer tools on this site run entirely in your browser. They are provided for convenience, and you should check their output before relying on it for anything important. Passwords and identifiers they generate are produced in your browser using your browser’s cryptographic functions; you use them at your own risk.

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense and links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for advertisements or external sites, their content, or their privacy practices. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy.

txtnode is free and provided as-is. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, without notice and without liability to you.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of txtnode. Because the service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to zero. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

We may update these terms as the site changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when we do. Continuing to use txtnode after a change means you accept the revised terms.
